Big garbage day = the day when peoples can throw out large objects in the false believe that when they throw something out, it will never be seen or heard from again.

It also appears we're no longer in Hamilton East, but rather in Hamilton Centre, AKA the poor house of Canada. Go us!

Waffles, we love you!

Back when I first came online, there was a MST3K fan page called "Waffle World".

For some reason, I'm... touched by the memory of "Waffle World". I'll be darned if I know why. I'm tempted to create a page called "Teddog's Waffle World" to hold my stupid stuff, but I fear that may spit on the memory of the website.

My father said that, "back in the day", he used to pass this place called "The Awful Waffle" on his way to Washington. Ten bucks says that this waffle place was on the same route as Nancy's Hallmark Store.

Now, I know that in some places in the US, "Awful Waffle" is a nickname for Waffle House... and it also apparently has something to do with an old Nick show. I don't think that this is case with my dad's memory. It was a waffle place, but "Awful Waffle" was an item on the menu. Basically, it was a waffle topped with an insane amount of crap and if you could eat all of it, you won a prize.

I remember many "eat it and you win" things, but I don't think they are that common anymore. There's a place on Barton Street that sells a burger made from a pound of ground cow with a prize like that... but that's all I can think of.

And I wanna picture of the Waffle Bird! Waffle! Waffle!
