Jan. 29th, 2004 04:42 amPackaging for the 5th MST3K DVD set.
Compare it to the first, second, third, and fourth boxed sets. I like the fourth one the best. It reminds me a lot of the laserdisc box from the movie. The laserdisc box is so pretty.
I found a film clip of the first 16 minutes of the MST3K episode Diabolik. What the heck is up with the credits? Spinning backgrounds with music that wouldn't sound out of place on one of Jason's projects. The result is one of funnest openings for an MiSTed movie I've ever seen.
Mike: Never start a movie in the middle of a spin cycle.
Crow: The true story of spin art.
Mike: I feel sicker than when I went on the Tilt-A-Whirl 10 times in a row.
Tom: The movie already started and it's already circlin' the drain.
Tom: Slam enough espresso and you'll see the world like this.
Crow: Gentlemen, let's open our movie with a ten minute shot of a spinning radish!
Tas, you SO need to see that. I'll burn it to CD if you want. The file is about 150 mb.
My sisters have gotten their full digital cable back. This means that they get BookTV and Jenn is going to record episodes of Prisoners of Gravity for me. New episodes of PoG for meeee! Well... new to me. The episodes are over 10 years old. Even though BookTV edits down the episodes for time, it's still episodes I haven't seen yet. Wheee. I really want to make a new PoG based icon, but I had forgotten how dark that show is - literally. I swear there was no lighting budget on that show. I ripped a few video clips from my tapes and the lighting is often just too dark to work with in stills. 0_0
Is it just me, or is those anyone else find the music from the Casio Plant level of Sonic Heroes depressing? I've been listening to it all while typing this and it's been bugging me. I can't place why it's so depressing.
