After some deep thought, I ordered the 4th MST3K DVD set. It should arrive within the next two weeks (I was too lazy to get it shipped quickly). And I'm not really $60 in the hole because my tax rebate covered most of the price.

The set includes Space Mutiny, Overdrawn at the Memory Bank, Girl in Gold Boots and Hamlet. All are from season 8 and 10, making them Sci-Fi era episodes. No Forrester or Frank and Crow has a new voice. Yeah. Character wise I think I like the Comedy Central episodes better.

So more MST3K for mmeeee! ...although I have a feeling that the disks are going to be passed around.

We have riffs of MASS DESTRUCTION!

Found another Zak McKracken fan remix (BuXY c64 remix). It's based on the C64 version of the game, but sounds fine. Midi of the original here.

Zak McKracken is a great game, being a science fiction with heavy fantasy undertones set in what could have been the future of the Maniac Mansion series (the jury's still out on that one). Since as of this year LucasArts decided stop selling the set the game was in, I suggest you download it. The FM Towns version has the best graphics and is slightly easier when you reach Mars, but the plot events don't occur in the proper order.

SCUMMVM supports all versions but the Kanji version of the FM Towns release.
