I doubt anyone outside of moonygirl knows about Gizmo and Ruff. They were very early fan characters birthed outta LucasArts fandoms waaaay back in 1996 by my friend Chris and I. Both were dogs; Gizmo was the brains of everything (based on me and named after a pen) and Ruff was the muscle (based on Chris and named after the fact that the character couldn't bark), but they didn't have a lick of logic between the two of them. They have a cat friend named Sara (based on our friend Lisa) to serve as that. A cute little trio, though.

In light of this, I found this headline amusing.

On a slightly related note, a week back everyone's favorite MM fan site finally posted something I've waited a while to read - the official prose walkthrough. It's a bit cryptical since it's a walkthrough and suppose to serve as a hint guide as apposed to being a detailed story, but the value of the character info in this is insane. If you read through this and still hate Dave, I pity you. He's got more attitude here than the game showed. :-)
