To get even with Jesse I drew a picture of Commander Rick wearing Mad Max's clothing. Looks like crap, but I still need to clean, ink, scan and photoshop it. It shall look semi-good then.

I also drew a furry version of me with human hair. It looks odd, so I may just pencil crayon it for myself and not scan it. And for some reason the IRS agents showed up in my sketchbook. I don't want to know how that happened.

I finished my Christmas shopping today. Twas very simple when I got down to it. And no, Katie, I'm not telling you what I bought.

I have no idea what prank LucasArts is trying to pull. I visited their online store the other day and was crushed to discover that they weren't selling Maniac Mansion: Day of the Tentacle in any way, shape or form.

(Long discourse: I have the first game as a Nintento ROM. While there's pirated versions of DOTT floating around online, they're of the floppy version and not the CD-ROM talkie version. I think the floppy has the voice over work for the opening, but the rest of the game only has captions.)

So I was at Jason's board and he mentions that LucasArts is offering Monkey Madness for the PC again at a higher price than before. I checked the site out and they're selling DOTT again for the Mac as part of their first archive volume. WTF? I checked earlier in the week and the only Mac games they had were Star Wars titles and Escape From Monkey Island. Now EMI is gone, but the first two volumes of the archives (golden age adventure games and early Star Wars titles, respectively) are back and now they're also offering Full Throttle and Sam and Max Hit The Road again! And Afterlife too! Hell, I didn't even know Afterlife was ported to the Mac!

The reappearence of Sam and Max and Full Throttle is probably because of the new games coming out for both those series in the next year. Those titles were also rereleased in Europe in a new set last week or something. As for DOTT and Afterlife, it may have something to do with characters from those games turning up on the new t-shirt LucasFarts put out.

Everything seems a little fishy right now. At least I'll finally get a new copy of DOTT to replace the one I lost back in grade 10. Whooo! Now I just have to find the long lost episodes of Prisoners of Gravity and I'll be set for life.

Those familiar with Steven Spielberg know that there's several types of characters he enjoys using in is work. One of these is the "everyman".

This type of character even appears in Spielberg's first film, Duel. The everyman character in that film has the last name "Mann".

I have idea why that amuses me.
