It's wonderful that people have great visions of what their project should do, look like and act. However, are these people the ones sitting in front of the computer writing code and trying to make everything work? Heck no! They're the ones who sit around, discussing how the project isn't exactly like their dream and how the project would be better if they had more money, time or better people.
Screw the project dreamers. All they do is tell you the project would be sooooo much better if only they knew how to code. I've got a message for them: You don't know how to code. You have no right to rag on me and others like myself. If you really wanted to learn and outperform, you would stop whinning and start learning how to write.
I'm an HTML hobbist. I taught myself the code so I could play around and have something to work on if I'm bored. I design a lot of my own graphics. When I have free time, I'll sit around and tinker with my stuff. However, there's no way I can code a Javascript to create a model like at the swimwear section of American Eagle Outfitters, yet my group expects me to!
This is a time where you have to grab the person by the collar and say "No!". I love what I do, but I'm only one person.
Hug your programmer today! If you've never tried your hand at coding something, you have no idea what they go through on a daily basis.
