And now my reaction to the fully translated version of Fullmetal Alchemist Chapter 44: Grave Without a Name

...

HOLY FREAKING SHIT! I WASN'T EXPECTING THAT!

First, we're dealing with the fallout from 43. I like Ed now. This scares me.

Anywho, Ed properly buries the thing that was supposed to be their mother but wasn't and phones Izumi, who as we all know tried to bring back her still-born child. Ed explains that they didn't bring back their mother, so Izumi probably didn't bring back her child. Izumi freaks and hangs up. So much for that.

AND THEN THE SHIT HITS FAN.

Pinako reveals to Ed that Trisha was holding a promise for Hohenheim and asked Pinako to tell him she failed and that she's going first... WTF? I'm getting the sinking feeling that Trisha knew more than she was leading on and I'm willing to bet it has to do with the brothers. o_o

Ed returns to Central and has to fix Al by using the remaining armour, since the missing parts were lost during the battle with Lust back in the late 30s.

Now, Ed figures that since Al still has memories from after his soul and body split, Al's body has to be somewhere. SOMETHING has to be storing the memories. Al's body was taken as a "passage fee" at the Gate, so it's NOT dead... but existing behind the Gate somewhere....

And when Ed first pulled Al's soul out, his soul attached to the "not-mother-thing" but was quickly rejected. Again, what the flipping heck! So not expecting that. Does this mean the things from across the gate don't have souls? Then Al admits that he was the one that killed the "not-mother-thing" and expalins that he couldn't admit it before because he was scared that he actually killed their mom. Whoa.

Speaking of strangeness, Izumi comments "If it's him, he may be able to win out against Truth someday" . Otay, that was from left field. Okay, now we know that both Izumi and Trisha are hiding something and they both have connections to.... HOHENHEIM! And Hohenheim may be "Father". And my head hurts.

Roy catches on that Envy kidnapped Marcoh while in Breda's form and announces that they're at a stalemate. Bredea has used up his vacation time and needs to return to work. This makes me wonder where Falman and Fuery are.

WHHHHHAAAA! Havoc's retiring and Roy let him go? The group's breaking up! Excuse me while I cry. *sniff* Havoc's going to the east, making him the second military character to be tossed to the winds (Ross is in Xing). Roy is going back to work, despite he's current state.

Yay! Denny! And Scar is back too. And Wrath is pissed.

*braindead*
