Dec. 4th, 2004 08:05 pmWhen I'm walking around, I think of strange things.
Like imagining Laura sneaking around the Intercity parking lot and prying off the "Mustang" text logos on Ford Mustang cars.
I'm thinking of doing a random piece of FMA fan art along the lines of...
Fury *holding up Hayate*: Doggie!
Breda: AHHHH!
Riza: This joke got old 5 months ago.
Blame it on rewatching episode 13 with Anne and Mandy last night. I wonder if Laura minds me using her Oekaki for drawing it.
Darn it, if I'm going to ask mom about making those uniforms, I better find some more images. I can't quite figure out how the coattails work. They look like they're attached to a belt, but depending on the fabric, that's got to be a lot of weight to hold up. I'd imagine that the fabric would be a twill of some sort, since that would be strong enough to handle military work, but but the combined uniform would be much too heavy to be pratical. A normal, light weight cotton weave would be nice to wear, but it doesn't quite look very military-like and won't last long in combat.
Odds are I MAY be getting a Amestris military uniform and go as a general officer at Anime North, 'cause I really don't look like any of the characters. Otherwise, I'll just help out with our group. The rest of the girls couldn't decide on what characters to go as, because Nicole couldn't agree to a series. So, it looks like they're all going as random characters from different series. Think of The League of Extraorinary Gentlemen, but with anime chicks.

Date: 2004-12-05 07:56 am (UTC)Oh, I was thinking about the uniforms too and it sort of seems as if they're wearing jackets. Like trenchcoats... And a belt is worn over top of the jacket. Seems like the most logical way to have it all be attached and I think I've seen some other trenches like that (Vash's coat is a good example too). :3
I have too many characters I wanna cosplay as. T_T <sob>

Date: 2004-12-05 07:39 pm (UTC)I love FMA and may want to cosplay it. The issue is I don't look like many of the military characters. You be the judge. (http://www.fullmetalalchemist.info/character3.html) The most I could pull off without crossplay is maybe Sheska.
