teddogWe have a flag! I gots bored tonight and made a flag out of a plastic bag that reads "190 RULES" (my dorm room number is 190 this fall), tied the flag to my trusty stick Leafdeath and stuck it in the front yard below my window.
I was tempted to tie a candy bar to the stick as bear bait, but I though better of it. For those college people who live in their own cozey homes, there was a bear seen on campus and now the res staff is having a fit. Saftey of students and all. I've never really had to deal with bears before, so I'm just avoiding the whole mess as best as I can.
My roommate bought Glow-in-the-dark penguins. I think she has a crush on JP, but this is beside the point. Poor JP, he's around the corner from me this year. We're the only two second year multimedia students in all of Sibley Hall. The lesser of the two Jamies doesn't seem to be around anymore. A few third years are around, but I haven't seen any first years.
The college is driving me nutty right now. All I need them to do is sign and stamp my forms so I can collect my CPP from dad's death benifits. I'm going to need that money to eat this year, yet it's taking them a WEEK to process the form. GAH! It's like a minute job. And collecting OSAP was a wonderful hour and a half standing in lineups.
ANYWHO... I talked to Rob about work. He has a few things he wants me to do and wants me to start to really focus on the inner workings of our server. He wants Kevin to teach me how to work on the new Windows server on campus. I kinda want to learn more about tweaking the server side, so I don't... you know... randomly blow anything up.
BTW, the multimedia server is crap right now and needs a reboot. We are working on this. Really. :-P
