Packing sucks!

teddogWe went to Ontario Place/Canadian National Exhibition on Monday. I would post photos, since Ontario Place is my favorite... I'm not sure quite what it is. Government controlled rec park, maybe. But, I'm so stuck for time as is. I'm leaving tomorrow night and I'm still not done yet!
Katie bought the third season of Xena on DVD. I knew she liked the show, but she admited something funny today:
Apparently, when she was a kid, she would watch Xena on Saturday afternoons with our sisiter Jen and our friend Chris. Then the three would act out the episode with her as Gabrielle, Jen as Xena and Chris as Joxer.
I played stupid games as a kid too, but that one is news to me. The boxed set is HUGE! 9 disks! Oddly enough, it cost the same as a set of four MST3K disks. Me thinks I'm in the wrong fandoms.
And because I made fun of Katie, I might as well make fun of myself. Katiers says that I look like Fury in the upper left hand panel of this page from chapter 37, only without glasses. I'm willing to agree with her, since he looks like eating a candy bar/small pop tart although I doubt that's really the case. I was going to show her the second gaiden, Dog of the Military?, but she had to finish her home study course. Maybe I can get someone to burn episode 13 onto CD for me, since that covers the first two gaidens from the manga.
And I've noticed (finally) that I've seen all the Prisoners of Gravity episodes in the Booktelevision run. That makes me sad. You'd think they would have access to more than a handful of episodes from a series which ran 5 seasons. Plus those few episodes have been shown since 2001.
Crap. I wish the CBC would update for their new season. After Red Green made a slight improvement last year, I really want to see the new season and see how things move along. Since studio filming doesn't start until the 11th, it can't be too soon. I wonder if Lisa and Mike managed to get tickets. I also want to know if any radio shows are moving or if anything good has been added to the lineup, since I listen to CBC Radio One more than a healthly person should.
