Aug. 24th, 2004 11:16 pmJen and I watched the MST3K episode Merlin's Shop Of Mystical Wonders last night. That was ODD.
Yeah... a movie that's supposed to be a family films, but features several dead family pets, a slightly freudian opening story and clips from some horror movie from the 1980s. Oh, and a woman about five times the size of me, if that's even possible. It's a real winner.
I've been so burned out. Because I've been so sick this month, I've done so little packing and I've leaving in what? A week? AHHH!

Date: 2004-08-25 05:32 am (UTC)My grammer sucks when I'm half asleep.
Date: 2004-08-25 09:58 am (UTC)The episode with Trumpy was Pod People. "It has nothing to do with pods. It has nothing to do with people. It has everything to do with hurting." Dammit, I love that episode.
Another way to introduce them could be the colorized version of Reefer Madness (this version (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00018D3XM/ref=pd_bxgy_img_2/002-2081015-0402457?v=glance&s=dvd)) that was released onto DVD a few months ago. Mike Nelson does a heckling commentary track on the disk. The Blockbuster here has a copy, so it must be pretty easy to track down. It's not exactly MST3K, but I think the film may be your kind of thing.
