Louise is engaged!!!!

Bill proposed to her when they where in Florida... on the beach at sunrise with a grand piano! They're getting married in December.

I'm happy for her. Most of my older friends are either married or getting married. Meanwhile I haven't had a boyfriend since 1999 and he was a jackass. I don't really care about not having a "special person"; I'd rather focus on my studies and work than drag around some clingy boyfriend. What would be the point of having a boyfriend? Sex? I could honestly care less. Kids? I can barely afford to live as is. Companionship? Yeah right.

But if someone can be happy with someone else, all the more power to them.

I got my watch today. They told me that the shipment was coming in today.... which turned out to be a shipment of ONE watch. It apparently came in an hour before I arrived and I managed to buy it, resulting in me proclaiming "I win! Go me!" in the middle of the store. It's really a guy's watch (read: BIG dial) but me likes. I also got candy (root beer flavored candy drops from The General Store), a new DVD crate and first volume of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (probably the only easy to access form of cyberpunk outside of books right now). The last one was more of an impulse purchase. I figured it was only $30 and I love Tachikomas. Whoo. Now, if only the Fullmetal Alchemist DVDs were out now.

I'll probably only collect the GITS:SAC volumes with episodes I want, although the Complex episodes make that a bit annoying. Plot and all.

Well don't be all bitter about it. Sheesh. You'll not allowed to get married. How else are we going to be Patti and Selma? Will just pick on Jenn's husband. We'll have loads of fun!
