teddogWhat's up with Lien-Da/Kommisar's outfit in issue 139 of Sonic? Either she's taken a stroll through Rouge's cloest or she has a serious bondage kink.
Maybe it's both.
And with the "Slumber Party" plot for Mobius: 25 Years Later, this whole issue just screams "FAN SERVICE!". Yep, we got girls in the tight leather with whips and spikes for you kniky types and girls in PJs for those who crave the girl next door.
Other than the outfit, me likes the first story. Second story sucks.
Stupid things with this installment of M:25YL because I'm not fond of it in general:
-OMFG! FLOATING CARTS OF THE FUTURE! That cart in the kitchen made my week for no reason. It's so pointless.
-...Frutello?
- Okay. We know that Mobius is the future Earth. This has been hinted at since Brave New World and confirmed in issue 124. We also know that the parts of the human race as we know it today still exist (eg station square). So, why the hell is popcorn called "buttercorn"? There's a thin line between being creative and being stupid.
- If Salma is chameleon, how is it that she has hair? Yeah, she's appeared earlier, but it still bugs me.
- Doesn't that ponytail make Julie-Su top heavy?
-Is there some unwritten law in the Sonic universe that no two characters can have the same set of gloves?
- Would breaking this law result in mixups at the dry cleaners?
- My mother never EVER came down during my sleepovers. I think the fact we froze each other's bras bothered her.
- Judging from the view from his window, Knuckles is currently in Russia.
-The flow of dialogue on the last page gives me a headache. You try to follow Lara-Su in the top panel. It "reads" very blocky in my head.
