The movie Brother Bear is okayish, nothing to write home about, but the Rutt and Tuke commentary on the DVD kicks butt.
That's the greatest commentary I've heard in a long time. You need to accept that Rutt and Tuke are just Bob and Doug from SCTV in moose form and toned down for a families (no onscreen drinking or smoking, although the smoking part of the characters was gone by the time Strange Brew rolled around anyway). In fact, watching the commentary is like a strange fusion of Second City Television and Mystery Science Theater 3000.
To quote the MST3K fanfic forum, "There's a fic in there somewhere". If I MiSTed, I would run with that idea.
The commentary is VERY odd to be placed on an international DVD release, however, as there's many passing references to things like the LCBO or Canadian airports that would make no sense to viewers outside of Canada.
On the other hand, this will be the only time you'll get a reference to the LCBO on an animated Disney DVD.
