I need some comic dork help.
I found a piece of Umineko no Naku Koroni fanart today and it's sent me for a loop. See, I SWEAR that the poses are lifted from a piece of official North American comic art, probably from the 1990s. Problem is that for the life of me, I can't remember what this picture was or even what series it's from.
The only reason I think that is that some of the poses are almost out of character. I could just be going insane, though.

(Note - there's spoilers but it's so out of context and I think I'm the only one in my circle of friends who has ANY interest in this game series unless I can get Kate to watch it with me when the anime comes out, whenever THAT'S coming... but yeah, spoilers are a non-issue)

I keep thinking there's another, more clearly laid out front line combat scene, but I can't seem to recall what it is. I read way too many comics in the 80s.
