C-TDOG'S CHRISTMAS SPECIAL AND DRAGON CLICK-A-THON!

Greetings!

This is a fusion of two ideas that have come to me today - to combine daily posts of Christmas specials and my every-other-day dragon posts from the experiment that Steff and I started out on.

....sadly, I got this idea on the THIRD of December, but work with me here.

So, welcome to my Christmas Click-a-thon! I'm your host, the ever annoying Teddog and until Christmas I'll be bringing you a mix of dragon eggs and Christmas specials from years past. Not all of the specials have been uploaded by me, but I have some to share.

Here's our dragons for today, both from Steff!
Adopt one today! Adopt one today!

And today's special is the 1978 PBS special Christmas Eve on Sesame Street. This is the GOOD Sesame Street special, where Big Bird has a crisis of faith after Oscar shares his opinion on Santa (take your own meaning out of that), not the infamously bad one that aired on CBS that same . That's for tomorrow! This one is actually quite cute still and has a sweetly low budget edge to it.

I remember this one from the year it was aired, specifically the skating, and the discussion between Oscar and Big Bird.

I remember first seeing it in the mid 80s. The skating stood out, because it weirded me out as a kid. Long story short - dad was a Disney fan and I understood that the characters at Disney parks were just performers at a young age. So, there's Sesame Street characters that are full body suits and they want me to believe it's actually the puppets? Yeah, NO. I remember telling my mom that it wasn't really a Sesame special, but she was right and it eventually got better. @_@
