(no subject)

I normally don't brag about World of Warcraft loot, but...

We went to Karazhan tonight and killed Prince Malchezaar. It was a frustrating fight more based on luck than skill in terms of living through it, but a fun one in that I actually get to use my tracking skills in it.

Until the infernals fall directly on top of your raid, in which case tracking doesn't matter. Ugh.

And the drops? Warrior/Priest/Druid head gear token, Stainless Cloak of the Pure Hearted, and....

...wait for it...

Sunfury Bow of the Phoenix

And yes, I WON IT and then promptly went around one-shotting level 25 monsters to test it. It's going to take some time to adjust to. My weapon before was the Consortium Blaster ans it made things so tight in terms of shot rotation. I could probably squeeze some more shots with this one and up my DPS slightly. I fall somewhere around 3-5 in the charts at the moment, which can be improved.

The raid leader for the "beginner" Karazhan group did request me by name for Tuesday, so I must be doing something right-ish. I think he just wants me for trapping. :P

Just curious as to how much you needed to farm your bow skill up as I've never seen you use one prior to his.

I got Xavian Stiletto and my Throw ability was 80...

1 skill point.

Kate took me to Mana Tombs once. I won Ethereal Warp-Bow (http://thottbot.com/i25953) and played around with it until my skill was 349 months ago.
