<- Is 24 Today.

Well, not until 9pm to be more exact, but close enough.

Ugh. 24... I better shut up before the rest of Flist gets on me about how young I still am. o.O

I won't tell you how young 24 is, but I will point out that I was mostly unemployed and poor at that age. I was driving a mobile soup kitchen part-time and writing one or two articles a month for a computer magazine. You're doing cool media stuff, and have been for a while now!

While I have various complex and annoying problems with my personal life, I will admit that I can't complain about my work life at the moment.

The one thing that I am let down about is that... I'm 24! When people visiting Signal Loss asked about my age, I loved telling them "Oh, I'm 19!" or whatever for the reaction. It loses some of the shock value now that I'm in the mid-20s. :-\

Happy Birthday, you.

Thanks, you. :)

I hope the rest of today treats you better. :(

Happy birthday, you wee baby! (:

Actually, my younger brother [livejournal.com profile] mchooge turned 24 yesterday. You're in good company!

The people of 1983 will rule the world.

Just wait.

Happy Birthday, you!

(I have an urge to say that being almost a quarter of a century old is not exactly young, but I suspect I should shut my mouth...!)

No, it's not young, but look at the company I keep!

I do feel more "normal" now that I'm older, though. Kinda odd...
