Okay, when I was in grade 10, I had this Communications project where we had to remake a music video. We found this video on MuchMusic special of "Stupidest Videos Ever" and decided to use it, because it's so darn simple looking and the studio looked exactly like our classroom. NO EFFORT. It should be noted that members of my group included the people that sold drugs in the editing suite. Freaking Delta!
I don't have a copy of our version (such things are best left in the past), but I played the guy in the black suit. The bass player, I think. I still remember remaking the scene that occurs at 00:43 - we had to film it several times because we could not stop laughing. The guy who played the singer had shaved his head some time before, so he taped this strip of fun fur to his head for the hair.
As for what the song is about, I have no idea. 0_0 Our copy cut out around 1:36 and all I remember is "HOW MUCH IS THE FISH?!?"

This video came out when I was in the 8th grade. I liked it. A girl I liked also liked it. She had a crush on me, and I was embarrassed to acknowledge it, just because that's the way I was then. She smoked cigarettes and listened to punk music - what if my MOM found out?
End of the school year rolls around - she's moving to London. We say goodbye awkwardly at the doors of the school. She tries to hug me and I somehow turn it into a handshake.
As we walk off in separate directions, she asks me to think of her anytime I hear this song.

She taught in grade 10 and 12. In grade 11, her retinas detached and she spent the year in and out of surgery. Last I heard, she was now teaching art instead of communications.
