Yay! My package shipped!
No, not the DVDs, sadly. I bought some books on discount a while ago, since I've been reading faster than normal. Right now I'm reading The Book of Three by Lloyd Alexander. I don't know if I'm going to finish the rest of the Chronicles of Prydain yet.
Anywho, new books include The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension by Earl Rauch, which is based on the movie but goes into more detail and apparently has a subplot that was cut out of the film (Hanoi Xan!). I want to read that before the comic mini-series Return of the Screw starts coming out. Hopefully it'll be decent storywise, since Rauch is writing that series too. Yeah, I'm getting back into that movie again, but hey, it's a short canon and suddenly has new material. I have a right to be exicited. ::wants a Team Banzai shirt::
I also picked up the second Fullmetal Alchemist novel, which wasn't adapted for the anime and falls under the catagory "new material" and the last Red Green book, Duct Tape is Not Enough, which (I believe) is a collection of the newspaper article spinoff that ran a few years back.
I aim to read some of the Sherlock Holmes stories after that, but that means buying them in a managable size; I tend to read on public transit.
