Odd things from over the past few days...

In the last 24 hours, I've had regular Tim Tams, Dangerous Liaisons Creamy Truffle Temptation Tim Tams and Purple Yam Pocky.

It's like I'm cultured, but not.

That's amazing...you're speaking English but I have no idea what you're talking about! Except the pocky...I've heard of pocky sticks, if that's what that is.

Did you bring enough candy and junk food for the rest of the class?

I wish I had some to share with everyone else. Virtual snackage for all!

The pocky was pocky sticks, only with purple yam flavoured coating instead of chocolate. I don't know about you, but when I see candy with a flavour like "purple yam", I just have to buy one box. Even if you go blind from eating them, how many times do you get yam candy?

The Tim Tams were an office thing, so there was enough for us in Digial Media and Publications and none for those freeloaders off in Science next door. They're chocolate filled, chocolate coated, chocolate cookies from Australia. Best breakfast ever.

Purple Yam Pocky? *the mind boggles* You guys get really awesome flavours of Pocky up north. The oddest flavour we have here in my corner of the States is Green Tea or Flan. (Both of which are icky to me.)

I don't think it has to do with living up north more than living in a huge community. Come on, it's Toronto. It's around the 5th largest city in North America. The most exotic flavour we had in Thunder Bay was strawberry.

Laura managed to find a store called Sanko which has a crap load of flavours, but that boils down to "we got lucky and know where to find it".
