Comics and Stoof!
Went out and picked up Shazam: The Monster Society of Evil at the suggestion of ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
slwatson. Plus, it's by Jeff Smith and it looks CUTE. Yeah, I'm that easy to win over. Flipped through it and it looks fun! Really looking forward to reading this.
Ordered in volume 1 of the Higurashi manga, since it was out of stock. I've been waiting for that one because the pacing is supposed to be MUCH better than the anime was for the first arc and it includes some elements that the anime skipped for time, like the nature of the alternate universes.
Also, the coverart for the last issue of the Ashbringer issues was released and I HATE YOU BLIZZARD. Because now that means I'm going to finish it. I mean, it's a nice piece of art there and Kel'Thuzad is my favorite villain in Warcraft canon. Also wasn't expecting him to appear on the covers, since all of the other ones have been Mograines until now. I was expecting a group shot or Tirion or something. Hopefully this means that he's going to appear more and HOPEFULLY be more in-character. You know, smart scary, not boogieman scary. Sigh.
