Let's try the daily thing
Today's thoughts:
I miss music in my life. Sure, I listen to a lot, but about... hmmm... 6 years ago I used to play saxaphone. I was one of the better players in the school since I actually got to play. The music teacher, Mr. Brown, was very selective on who got to play what. In the band there was ONE drummer, ONE tuba player, ONE drummer and ONE baritone sax player. That was me. It probably looked odd seeing short little me dragging around the mother of all saxaphones. The baritone was THE SAX. Bigger is better in the eyes of pre-teens.
A good baritone will set me back a good $2500 US plus all the add-ons. I might look at getting an alto again. I could flip back and forth between alto and baritone and did so often when duty called. Not very good for fine tuning a talent (PUN!).
I finished the text for the ABOUT page of the fanlisting. Geez, I can't type a simple informational page without going all out. I still have to work on the graphics. I have a new fic in mind.
::Sigh:: I NEED to finish this fic. Not to throw something to the fic reading wolves, but to prove to myself that I can write something of merit. University killed me and any drive I had. I can feel it coming back, but I need to see something as a result of my efforts before I can show my face anywhere again.
