I'm sick of this...

Even when I lurk in areas for "Mormons who are different", I get the feeling I don't belong. You see:

1. I'm not the stereotypical person who has been wronged by society. I'm not punk or goth, although I might be emo. That is, if I ever learn exactly what "emo" means. I'm more of a progressive rock listening geek myself. I'm into science fiction, MST3K, Prisoners of Gravity, Rush, Genesis, early LucasArts adventure games (read: Zak/Mansion timeline), Hitchhikers Guide and B-movies. I'm fairly liberal minded when it comes to politics.

2. I'm the daughter of a first counselor and as such people think I have a comfortable living in the church because of that. I'm sorry but it doesn't always work that way! My callings came from something other than my family status... but again I'm not sure what that is.

3. I'm not at BYU nor am I in a singles ward. Good for me.

Now, could someone direct me to where I "belong" or if I even belong at all?
