It's so nice out!
Today is what I'd call a "Florida morning" It's hard to explain how the name works to someone... anyone. I remember telling Chris and Derek a morning was a Florida morning and they didn't get it.
Okay, a "Florida morning" is when you wake up and the morning is a heck of a lot warmer and sunnier than normal. This is comparable to travelling down the east coast. When you step out of the car or the hotel room in the morning, you'll probably note that it's a lot warmer than you expected. Actually, this tends to kick in with the Carolinas and Georgia, but Florida is always notably warmer. It doesn't have to be super warm either, since it's comparable to the odd hour where the sun is up and everything is still in the evening cold before the daytime heat kicks in.
So, there. A stupid story.
Anyway, it was unusually warm and bright this morning, which is a welcome change from the other week. It's 0 °C and sunny outside, with no wind and no wind chill. I think this is only a morning thing, since the forecast is saying "snow in the evening". That sucks, because I was thinking of heading out and doing... something tonight if the weather stayed like this.
The whole thing is strange, since this is my first Febrary in years outside of Northwestern Ontario. Dang it, I missed odd days like this.
