WTF? They renamed the Skydome? Like heck anyone is going to call something else. It's been the Skydome for 16 years and "Skydome" is a million times cooler than "Rogers Centre". The upgrades are nice, even though I have very little interest in baseball anymore. Ted Rogers can piss up a rope for all I care. There are better things that a media mogul can do than money than buy sports teams. Man, I hate people in my potential line of work sometimes.
Does anyone know where this image of Roy and friends is from? It reminds me of the art you see on the first page of the Omake sections, but I'm not sure if it's official or just fan art. Fuery's rank there is only Private (you can tell from the shoulder things), which confuses me even more. o___O
It's been an interesting couple of days...
Had my big presentation yesterday. Not much to say about that other than I'm a bit worried about the results.
I was dressed up for the presentation and stayed in my business clothes at res for a while... which scared people. I dunno. Maybe I do only wear jeans and t-shirts a lot, but they are so much easier to wash than anything fancy. And while people telling you that you look nice is okay, having others say "this is the first time I've seen you put effort into your appearance" isn't. What the heck? Maybe I don't put effort into my appearance because I'm a simple little media student in college. I'm not looking to get discovered or laid or whatnot.
Non-Rommate Amanda came over and we had pizza and watch several hours of Mystery Science Theater 3000. Mostly just shorts collections, the Blockbuster Review specials, The Academy of Robot's Choice Awards special and the goofy Playstation Underground clip. My brain was fried by the head, but that may have been the result of lack of sleep.
And when Anne's done drying her laundry, a bunch of us are going to Port Arthur and then I have to talk to JP about borrowing his VCR. *waits*
