I Love Life.
Real life chimeras. Run, Katie, run.
My roomie and I were hanging around the dorm tonight.... bored out of our feeble skulls.
Roomie: I want hot chocolate
Me: As do I.... TO THE STORE!
And thus we went on a misadventure through the dark and snow to find hot chocolate.
Now, I don't know what the real world thinks of our insanity. Over the course of the adventure...
- I scaled a snow drift so tall that I could see the rooftops of the buildings on campus, Mandy threw snowballs at me.
- I challenged Mandy to a pallet fight in the dairy section.
- Mandy managed to crash a shopping cart into a freezer full of frozen pizzas.
- Mandy then pinned me against another freezer and threatened to kill me for laughing at her.
- We gained a pet shopping cart and named it Stevie.
We came with hot chocolate and about $30 worth of stuff that was either shiney or on sale. Hey, when you live in a dorm, you learn to live by the seat of your pants. We don't know when we can get food for that cheap again.
Later, Tas was discussing her plans for moving to Toronto. Less than a year, man! With at least her, Mike and myself trying to get placements down there, life should be really interesting. I'm a tad bit worried about my worlds crashing. I'll probably be living with my uncle off of Bayview, but I could care less about what he thinks. However, I grew up in the GTA and there are people there that have been my friends for as long I can remember. With my college friends coming down too, I'm kinda scared that everybody will end up hating each other. I'm easy fairly to get along with myself, but I seem to get connected with a huge range of people with different ideals and interests.
Ahhh... all I can do is hope for the best. Being with the college gang in an area where there is actual stuff to do ought to kick butt. :D
