The government is just annoying me now.
I'm still waiting for my orphan's benfits to come in and the government is keeps wanting to stall by sending more and more paperwork. It's not like I want the money to piss away at random - I NEED that money to survive. Laundry, bus fare, food, *products*, Christmas prezzies... that's what the money is for. I'm across the province from family and I trying to live on what I have, since money is. I wish we had photography again so I can resell photopaper to make laundry money.
I'm getting paid this week, which should be enough to pay down some of my credit card and all of my phone bill, but it's tough all around for us. I lent Anne money so she could do laundry last week and I got paid back tonight in A&W root beer. Not that I'm complaining, since it IS A&W and Anne's kinda in the same boat as me with CPP. However, anyone that thinks that living in res is one big party where people blow cash on drinks, drugs and sex is sadly mistaken. I mean, yeah... once a month Anne, Mandy and I go to the store and blow $10 to $20 on candy, but... that's all we have to look forward to some weeks.
I'm still doing fairly well in my classes, which is amazing considering my standard of living.
